"Invisible Girl is absorbing, captivating & satisfying. I LOVED it! A thought-provoking, wonderful reading experience... ps you owe me a box of tissues, Kate!" Annie Everall - Authors Aloud UK
Kate Maryon's characters stay with you long after the book is finished. Jenny Valentine
What’s strange is that the day it actually happened, everything seemed so normal...
Caught between arguing parents and moving house, twelve-year-old Gabriella Midwinter somehow slips through the cracks. Now she’s more alone than ever before. The city streets are no place for young girls but they’re all she’s got. Unless she can find her brother Beckett. Unless she can find her home.
Latest News | Invisible Girl is endorsed by The Big Issue Foundation and the Railway Children Charity and together we're working to raise awareness and bring home the stark facts that every 5 minutes a child runs away from home... every year sees 100,000 under 16 year-olds sleeping on UK streets. Lovely pre-publication review of Invisible Girl...
'I thought that Invisible Girl was one of the best books I have ever read. I literally couldn’t put it down. It’s one of those books that you have swirling around in your head for ages after you have finished it. I think it will be a great seller when it gets published and could get an award! Overall I would give it 5/5 stars and I will almost certainly read the other books she has written as that was the first one of hers that I have ever read; I think she has a real talent for writing. If you like Jacqueline Wilson then you will definitely like this. The main character’s story is so moving you feel as if you are about to cry!'

To Kate,
Your books changed my life because you made me realise that while I'm having a great time some people could be having a hard time at home. When I picked up the first book (A Million Angels) I couldn't put it down. What I like is that you don't just write about joy and happiness, you write about real things that can happen to some people. You are letting people know that people aren't all having a great time in life and you're raising awareness so people know about children in those states. As I said you are an amazing person and you have written the most brilliant, perfect books ever. You are BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
