I just wanted to tell uou what I saw in my library today. I was in there at breack time trying to find a book by Caphy Hopkins- do you know her?- abd on the way out I looked at the "New Book Shelf" and saw two of your books!!!! And I know how they got there! Ages and ages ago, I put in a request to the librarian to see if they could get any of your books. A few weeks later and I checked if she had succeeded. She said no. So I tried again and a few weeks later and they still weren't there. But by that time I already had your books so It didn't really matter anymore. But now there here! I want to share you to the world and show people that books and charecters aren't just in pages. But you can connect and bring them alive in your mind and get them Ti help you. And now there finally here! When your new book is out I'm going to ask for that one too- unless I buy it before them!

I only discovered your books a week ago, and purchased Glitter and A Million Angels. I am currently reading Glitter and it is amazing! I can't wait to start reading A Million Angels! After I have read both books I will get Shine, then Sea Of Stars. I have already started to tell all my friends about your books and I am taking my books into school so my friends can read the blurb then maybe purchase one themselves! Hello Kate,
I am a great fan of your books and I have just finished 'a million angels' this afternoon. I have read Shine, Glitter and A million angels and I know 'the sea of stars' is coming out in June, but I wanted to know if you have any other books coming out sooner or are already out now.
I can relate to some of the feelings some of your characters feel and I do get emotional when I read your books.

I was just writing to tell you I enetered the boxing Northern Championships yesterday and I got second place out of five hundred people! I got a big box presented to me by Matt Fiddes ( Micheal Jackson's bodygaurd!) and inside there was a HUGE silver medal with a picture engraved into it of two people sparring (fighting - my catorgory) !!!!

I have just turned 11 and I bought with some of my birthday money Glitter and Shine, and I love them. Your a great author I got recommended these books by my friend at school Sophie who is a great fan of you!!! And I will be proud to recommend them to some of my other friends. Hello Kate, I have noticed a few of my friends saying that they visited the launching event for Merchant Taylor's 'Shine'project.
I was also there, you read a chapter of you book, which, coincidentally, is called 'Shine'. You also gave a copy to everyone there (It was fascinating and thank you for signing it)It took about a week to clear all that glitter out of my hair!
Although the glittery angel stamp came straight off in the shower :( I've asked for your other books, glitter & a million angels for Christmas, cant wait!!! Shame these ones aren't going to be filled in glitter like Shine!!!! :D

Dear Kate,
today i borought A MIllion Angels into school for my english lesson. We were ment to bring in our favourite book and read it for the whole English lesson. But what we didnt know was that Sir wanted us to read to him. I really didnt want to! So i started reading about Jemima again to put my mind off it. Im glas ive started reading it again actuallly because i misssed out a few things the last time and anow took them in. Like how theres actually a point in trusting life and ot trying to change like i keep doing...
Anyway, it was my go next and got really nervous. But then i thought (because i want to travvel the world when im oldre)and what if i needed help? If i couldnt read to a teacher then i would never survive on my own. So i went up and read to him- even if it was quiet and stutery- and am now feeling a bit proud of myself. I got a bit messy though because the glitter you put in my book all fell out! Luckily the teacher never notice... :D

OMGOSH!!! I can't believe that I met you today! I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!! And I love the mug- Im already drinking from it now! The other stuff was so cool too, I love all the little postcards and badges. Before I saw you, me and mum were just paying the parking fee when you rang up and I was so amazed! My gaw dropped open at first and then I kept dancing around- like I have bben all day! I've sprinkled loads of the glitter in my gift bag, around my room to make it shine and eeming me what I did on this amazing day...
By the way, my injections were resterday and your right; they were over in a flash! I only said ow once but that was when I realises the needle was out my arm and replaced by a cottonbud!

I can't believe it! I was sooo amazed that you emailed and RUNG up my mum! She recordered it and I listen to it over and over again! And, my mum said I can go and meet you at Octavias this Saturday! I can't believe my luck! I just can't wait untill Saturday now! I have all three of your books and I can't wait untill you sighn them! I've planned out what I'm going to wear and everything ( look out for a girl with blonde hair, purple glasses and will be smiling and jumping down all the time in pure happiness) !
I have these injections at school on Friday and I thought that if I think of you while I had it done, it wouldn't hurt as much... Do you have any tips???
For the prize of the compertition, could you give it to me when I see you this Saturday? It would save you sending it and I'd be soooo happy if you hand gave it to me! I don't mind if you do send- I don't mind really.

I have now came back from Devon and am home in Birmingham. I'm so glad I'm home!
Um Reading Glitter at the moment and I realy feel how Libby feels. It's nit that my dad doesn't do things to me- I hardly get to see him- it's just he says these things that I suppose are little but to me are big and can really hurt my feelings. And in Shine, I feel how Tiff misses her best friend because i got taken away from my two best friends in Italy, when I used to live there. And in A Million Angels I understand how Mima feels with Tory bullying her- a girl in year 5 used to say these horrible things to me that made me cry at lunch times when I was alone...
So I suppose I really love your books be cause I know how the charecter geeks which just makes it easier for me to, like be an invisible clone going through the whole problem with them...

Dear Kate,
I have just came back from town and bought Shine for myself (I have finished A Million Angels!) I'm already on chapter 10, and it sounds brilliant. I also bought four little notebooks so I can write down ideas for my stories when I'm out and have some spare time.
I feel a little better now, but um still...i can't explain it. Anyway I can't wait untill I go to bed tonight, then I can gave a flask-full of tea and an hour of Reading Shine.

I have an Independent bookshop in the Cotswolds specialising in children's books...I read Shine a year or so ago when I was on the panel for the Waterstone's children's book prize and nominated it to win. I have since managed to move a great number of my customers away from Jacqueline Wilson and on to your book. Do you do signings at all ...if so will you come and sign at my shop?

Dear Kate,
I've just started Reading "a million angels" and I think it's brilliant. The things jemima say actually make me put the book down and think about it. She thinks things that some people- like me- would of never realised before.
When I grow up, I want to be a writer too And have already stacks of notebook's filled with individual short and long stories. But my problem is that I always get writers block. I do the start and I think through all the story in my head. But I just can't put it in words! Do you have any tips?
My idol used to be Jacqueline Wilson, but I think you are now. I've decided to collect all your books too! I love your website- it's like the covers off your books!
